John W. Peterson Music Company is a copyright management company located in Scottsdale, Arizona, which manages the extensive copyright catalog of John W. Peterson and a small group of other composer/writers.  We currently administer the rights to over 2,800 original songs, copyrighted arrangements, cantatas and musicals.

A copyright is an exclusive right given to the author of an original created work.  It is an asset, a legal interest protected by law. Included in the exclusive rights given to the copyright owner is the right to authorize the use and copying of a work into any form, including print, audio, and film.
