Audio
restoration is a process that utilizes a variety of tools and techniques
to help improve the overall quality of a sound recording. Over time, most
older audio formats (both vinyl and magnetic tape) begin to
significantly deteriorate due to usage, oxidation and moisture. "Pro
Digital Audio Mastering" can help change all of that. Whether it's simply an "old favorite," an
entire musical collection of vintage classics, or even a "spoken
word" tape, we can help! Let us "clean-up" and remaster those
recordings and transfer them to a more durable compact
disc format (CD-R).
Audio Restoration.
The restoration process can significantly improve old, damaged and
otherwise "inferior sounding" recordings by removing a variety
of unwanted background noise such as tape hiss, clicks, pops, and surface crackling.
We strive to
achieve the best possible results with minimum "artifacts" (side
effects) and
other processing anomalies. The
restoration process is most effective when the project contains an
“isolated” section of the noise to be removed.
Therefore, we recommend that you submit your original recordings
“unedited” so that we can sample the noise sound print outside the audio program
itself.
Audio Remastering.
We offer a variety of services including direct-to-CD
transfers, editing and other digital processing.
Depending on the nature and condition of your recordings,
with our subtle and judicious editing and processing, you
are assured of a final project that’s clean, yet warm and polished.
Because each recording is special and unique, we are committed to
providing the personalized care and attention
that each individual project deserves to ensure your complete
satisfaction.
